
Eddie
LeRoy, age 38, resides with his wife and two young sons in Eufaula,
Alabama. He began his art career during college painting the things he
knows best, wildlife. LeRoy uses acrylic to create his life like
images of all types of wildlife, and has been chosen as the artist for
a number of stamp-print programs.
He is one of the artists featured at National Wild Turkey Federation
national headquarters in Edgefield, South Carolina. Previous awards
include: 1990-91 Florida Turkey Stamp; 1991 Ducks Unlimited Sponsor
Print; 1998 Arkansas Turkey Stamp; 1999-2000 Alabama Duck Stamp; 2000
National Wild Turkey Federation Stamp, 2003 Arkansas Wild Turkey
Stamp, 2003 Mississippi Wild Turkey Federation Stamp; as well as
several Mississippi Flyway Ducks Unlimited Stamps.
Leroy’s recent works include a painting depicting the former President
Jimmy Carter duck hunting in a favorite Arkansas area, and the 2004-05
South Carolina Migratory Waterfoul Stamp. He is the winner of the
2005-06 Alabama Duck Stamp, and his painting was chosen for the cover
of the 2003 35th anniversary issue of Bass Masters magazine
